Noticeboard

Minor injury service - Our contract to provide a minor injury service will be coming to an end on 30th October 2020. In the event of sustaining a minor injury you must call NHS 111 who will direct you to the new provider. This applies to all patients, including those registered here at Kingsnorth Medical Practice

Please click 2020 Flu Clinics on the right hand side of the screen for updated information around this year's vaccination campaign. Central Government have just released this statement regarding the new age group being included in this year's campaign:

"Please note that, if you are aged between 50 and 64 and not in a clinical at risk group, the earliest you will be offered a flu vaccination is November, providing there is sufficient vaccine. No appointments will be offered for people in this age group until then. This is to ensure that those who are most at risk are vaccinated first. If you are aged 50 to 64 and are in a clinical ‘at risk’ group which is eligible for the flu vaccination, for example you have a health condition which puts you at risk from the flu, you will be invited earlier."

The NHS in Ashford and Public Health England (PHE) are extremely well prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases. The NHS has put in place measures to ensure the safety of all patients and NHS staff while also ensuring services are available to the public as normal.

The risk to the general public is high. If you have a temperature and/or a new dry cough and/or have been in direct contact with a confirmed case of coronavirus:
