Please note that whilst these are our consulting times each doctor/nurse has varying clinic sessions operating within these times.

Reception Opening Hours

Our reception team are available during these working hours to answer your calls but will be closed for lunch between 13:00 to 14:00.

Staff Training

The surgery closes on the first Tuesday or Wednesday of every month from 13:00 to 20:00 (except from January, April and December). 

Our next Staff Training afternoon will be Wednesday 5 February 2025.

 

When We Are Closed

For urgent appointments outside our normal surgery hours, please call the surgery on 01233 610140 where you will be directed to our out of hours service provider.

 

NHS 111

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS 111 to speak to an advisor. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.   In an emergency call 999

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

Advanced Notice : Closed For Staff Training

Practices in our locality are closed for Protected Learning Time (PLT).

Kingsnorth Medical Practice will be closed for staff training in the afternoon on the folllowing dates:

  • Wednesday 5 February 2025
  • Tuesday 4 March 2025

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:

  • Treat yourself at home
  • Go to a Primary Care Centre

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.
