Booster vaccinations

Please do not call the practice with general queries about Covid-19 vaccination.

The booster vaccination programme is now aiming to offer appointments to all adults aged 18 and over by 31 December 2021. Local vaccination teams are working to rapidly increase the availability of appointments.

We are inviting our patients to book at Musgrove Park Medical Centre via a text link. If you are able to, book through the text as soon as you can.

The national booking system has opened for over 30s today and will open for 18-29-year-olds on Wednesday, 15 December. Some local vaccination services will also contact patients directly.

The time between your second dose and a booster must be at least three months.

You can book using the national booking service by calling 119 or at https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/book-coronavirus-vaccination/

The national booking service will only show clinics that have appointments available when you visit the site/call 119; but clinics regularly add more dates.

Covid-19 Update from 19th July

Please be aware that from the 19th July patients aged 11 and over will still be required to wear a mask or face covering when coming to the surgery.

From the 6th September our front doors will be opening to patients again, you will no longer need to see reception at the window to be admitted. Any patients who have been advised they are "Red" patients will need to continue to follow the protocol of ringing reception from your car when you have arrived so you can be escorted through the red entrance/exit.

All "green" patients (those not showing any symptoms of Covid-19 or have been advised they are a "Red" patient) will be able to enter and exit through the main front door. Please make use of the hand sanitiser available and continue to wear face coverings whilst in the surgery and practice social distancing.

For Patient safety our check in screen has been disabled. Upon arrival please see reception who will check you in.
