Noticeboard

The NHS in Ashford and Public Health England (PHE) are extremely well prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases. The NHS has put in place measures to ensure the safety of all patients and NHS staff while also ensuring services are available to the public as normal.

The risk to the general public is high. If you have a temperature and/or a new dry cough and/or have been in direct contact with a confirmed case of coronavirus:

DO NOT PRESENT AT THE SURGERY/PHARMACY/A&E instead go to https://111.nhs.uk/service/covid-19

Only call 111 if you cannot manage your symptoms at home

NHS App

We would like to encourage you to download the NHS App (available via the App Store) onto your phone. This will enable you to view your medical records, check your symptoms, order repeat prescriptions, manage organ donation decisions and use e-consult in a more efficient way.

Set-up for the app is quick and easy. There is no need to bring your ID to the surgery as you can complete the setup on-line. Any new features released by the NHS will automatically be added to the app, so you can conveniently find everything in one place.

For patients who may not have a smart phone or are unable to download the app, we are now using the e-consult system which can be accessed through the Kingsnorth Medical Practice website. This system allows you to conduct a consultation with your GP on‑line.

If you require further information on the above, please call the reception team who will be happy to help!
